At We Close Deals, we believe real estate is more than just buying and selling homes, it’s about people, stories, and life-changing moments. Every agent on our team brings something unique to the table: their own path, passion, and purpose. Today, we’re shining the spotlight on a few of our incredible team members who are making moves, building dreams, and inspiring others to do the same. We asked our agents why they chose real estate, here are their responses!

Ashley Marrama – Building Dreams from the Ground Up
For Ashley, real estate became her calling the moment she built her first home. That experience ignited a passion for helping others find and create spaces that truly feel like theirs. Now a full-time agent, Ashley thrives on connecting with clients during one of the most important chapters of their lives. Her favorite part of the job? “Getting to connect with my clients in one of their biggest life-changing moments.” Her advice for anyone considering this career: “Be patient with yourself. This is HARD work. Many people think it's easy. It takes time!”

Madeline Parvey – Turning Curiosity into Career
Madeline’s passion for real estate started early. As a kid, she and her friend would sneak into new construction homes just to see the progress from studs to staging. “I thought it was so cool seeing a house come to life and someone eventually calling it home,” she recalls.
Now finishing her degree at Nichols College, Madeline is already building her future in real estate full time after graduation. “There’s never a dull day in this career,” she says. “If you love people, problem solving, and seeing your hard work pay off, there’s nothing like it.”

Jacob Garrity – Balancing Baseball and Building Wealth
For Jacob, real estate is about freedom financial, professional, and personal. “I realized the opportunity it gives to build long-term wealth through investing and selling,” he explains. As both a real estate agent and baseball coach, he’s found the perfect balance between his two passions.
What drives him most? “The connections and ability to help others understand the potential in real estate.” His advice is simple and direct: “Do it. It’s a unique opportunity to help others while giving you the flexibility to pursue what you love.”

Elizabeth Duffy – A People Person Through and Through
Elizabeth has always been passionate about helping others whether lending a hand on a small favor or taking on a big project. “Once I discovered real estate and realized it perfectly combines my love for people (and the fact that I never stop talking!), I knew I’d found the right fit.”
Her favorite part of the job is the connection she gets to build every day. “These days, so many jobs are remote, but as a people person, I truly value interacting and connecting with different individuals.” Her advice? “It’s a scary field at first, but once you find your rhythm and surround yourself with amazing people, you’ll never look back.”

Abigail Chrisafideis – Balancing Nursing and Negotiations
Abigail proves that passion and persistence can go hand in hand. A pediatric nurse by trade, she discovered her love for real estate after buying her first multi-family property and seeing firsthand the power of investing. “I learned the financial freedom real estate can bring,” she says. Balancing two demanding careers isn’t easy, but Abigail embraces the challenge. “In order to grow in life and reach your full potential, it’s about taking risks and trying your hardest.” Her favorite part of real estate? “Hearing my clients envision their lives in a home, it’s a gift in itself.” Her advice to new agents: “It’s sink or swim. It’s not a career you can just walk into and have instant success. It’s a grind, and consistency is key.”

Chelsea Brennan – From Apartment Hunting to Flipping Homes
Chelsea’s real estate journey began after college, while she was apartment hunting. “I realized how much I loved seeing different layouts and designs and the thrill of finding the perfect space,” she says. That excitement quickly grew into a career that’s now spanned over a decade.
When she’s not helping clients, Chelsea flips homes, transforming rundown spaces into warm, welcoming properties. “I love turning a place with potential into something full of love and life.”
What she’d miss most if she weren’t in real estate? “Making someone’s dreams come true and being able to advocate for them during what can be a very stressful, yet exciting time.” Her best advice: “It’s not just about opening a door. It’s about relationships, problem-solving, and making sure every party feels heard.”
Though each story is different, one theme ties them all together, connection. From first-time buyers to seasoned investors, every client represents an opportunity to make a difference.
