At We Close Deals, we believe that real estate is more than just buying and selling homes, it’s about building a life you love while supporting the people who matter most, our families. Among the many inspiring agents on our team are incredible moms who juggle the fast-paced demands of real estate with the equally rewarding (and challenging) role of motherhood. Their stories highlight resilience, creativity, and heart, proving that you can chase your professional dreams while raising a family. In this feature, we’re celebrating the moms of WCD and the unique balance they’ve created between closings, listing appointments, hockey practice and bedtime stories.

Here is what our team lead, Brooke Coughlin, has to say about being a mom in real estate: "Real estate has completely changed my life. From starting out as a teacher to becoming a REALTOR® and now a team lead, it has been the biggest blessing. I’ve been licensed for 5 years and today I’m honored to lead 18 amazing agents, with the vision of building the most powerful real estate team in New England.
At home, my sweet ‘Sonny Bunny’ (Carson) turns one this September, and he is my greatest purpose. Real estate has shown me I can be both — the best mama and a top-producing agent. When I first found out I was pregnant, I worried my business might slow down, but the opposite happened. My clients embraced me, and I’ve found a special connection with other moms and families.
To me, being both a mom and a REALTOR® means being a superhero — a super mama and a badass agent. It’s a juggling act, but proof that you can be present for your family, chase big dreams, and crush goals all at the same time.”
After hearing from Brooke about balancing leadership, motherhood, and building a powerful real estate career, we turn to another amazing mom on our team, Alissa Tosches. Alissa is newer to real estate but brings with her a wealth of experience, energy, and heart. Here’s what she had to share about her journey as both a mom and a Realtor:

"Hi! My name is Alissa Tosches. I’ve been licensed in real estate since November 2024, and I’m so excited to begin this journey. I moved from Maui to Massachusetts eight years ago to be with my husband, trading the sun for the snow, and spent over 15 years in retail leadership before real estate. That career gave me a passion for helping people and creating meaningful connections — skills I now bring to my clients as a Realtor.
At home, life is busy and full of love with my two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. Life with a toddler is energetic, unpredictable, and often hilarious but it’s also filled with so much joy. Between working full-time and building my business, I try to stay organized with calendars and lists while carving out little pockets of quality time with her, whether it’s at the playground, building towers, or hiding from “dinosaurs” in the house. 😂 Those intentional moments make it easier to balance everything, and I’ve learned to embrace flexibility when things don’t go as planned."
Just like Alissa, many of our WCD moms are navigating the beautiful chaos of raising kids while building their real estate careers. Each story is unique, but they all share the same determination to succeed in both family and business. Next, meet another one of our incredible moms, Sam Worden, whose journey in real estate and life with three busy kids shows just how much passion and balance it takes to do it all.

"I got my real estate license in September 2023, and in my first year I closed 7 transactions. Now in my second year, I’m aiming to double that total. I truly enjoy real estate—it’s the best career choice I’ve ever made—and I’m determined to continue strong and become a successful REALTOR®.
I’m also a proud mom of three amazing kids. My oldest, Ava Mae (16), is a junior at a technical school studying veterinary science and a competitive softball player who keeps us busy year-round on three teams. Ella Raegan (10) is heading into 5th grade and also plays softball, while my youngest, Waylon-James (6), is starting 1st grade and loves everything from heavy equipment to bikes. Safe to say, life at home stays busy!
The We Close Deals Team has been such a supportive, family-friendly environment. If you need help or answers, someone is always there. What I love most is how family comes first our kids are welcome to tag along when life and schedules collide, which makes this team truly special and appreciated."
Let's hear from another one of our amazing moms, Jaliah Bernal. Her journey highlights the same balance of determination, flexibility, and love that defines so many of the moms on our team.

"Hi, I’m Jaliah! I’m a Realtor with Lamacchia Realty on the We Close Deals team, and I’ve been in this business for a little over two years. Beyond real estate, I’m a woman of faith, a wife, and a mom to two beautiful girls who inspire me every single day. We enjoy the simple things in life—car rides, freestyling to an instrumental beat, roasting each other over dinner, or snuggling up to watch a good fight or movie.
I’m a proud mom to two amazing daughters. Nevaeh is 10 and Lylah is 6, which means life at home is a mix of pre-teen attitude and little-kid energy that definitely keeps things interesting! Between school, activities, and family time, our house is always busy, but it’s also full of laughter and love. They’re a huge part of my “why” and the reason push so hard in my career.
Honestly, the best part of being a mom In real estate is the balance and example it sets. Real estate gives me the flexibility to be there for my kids—whether it’s a school event or just making sure we still carve out family time. Beyond that, I love that my daughters get to see me chasing my goals and working hard, while still being present for them. I hope it shows them that they can go after big dreams too, while always keeping family and faith at the center."
Just like Jaliah, another one of our moms brings her own unique balance of family and real estate to the team. Stephanie Dolphin has found a way to blend her care-driven background with raising four boys, proving that dedication at home and in business can go hand in hand.

"I’m Stephanie Dolphin, a real estate agent with Lamacchia Realty on the We Close Deals team since March. Before real estate, I was a nurse, and I love being able to combine my care-driven background with helping families through one of the biggest transitions of their lives—buying or selling a home.
I’m also a proud mom of four boys, ages 16, 13, 11, and 3. Life at home is full of hockey practices, schoolwork, and the daily chaos of balancing busy schedules, but it’s also filled with plenty of laughter and love.
The biggest challenge for me when balancing motherhood and real estate is making sure I’m fully present for my clients while still being there for my kids—whether that’s showing up at hockey games, helping with schoolwork, or just being “mom” at the end of the day. Real estate doesn’t follow a 9–5 schedule, and neither does motherhood, so finding that balance can be tricky. But both roles are so rewarding that the juggle is absolutely worth it."
The stories of these incredible moms remind us that real estate is about more than contracts and closings it’s about people, families, and the drive to create a life filled with purpose. At We Close Deals, we’re proud to have women who lead with both heart and hustle, proving every day that you don’t have to choose between being a great mom and a great REALTOR®. Their journeys show that with the right support, balance is possible, and success looks different for everyone, but it always starts with passion, perseverance, and putting family first.
